Satya 2 - Telugu Movie Review

Rating: 2.5/5
Ram Gopal Varma is known for his gangster movies in the past. Especially with his ground-breaking 1998 crime thriller Satya, the filmmaker has bagged six Filmfare and four Star Screen awards, besides setting a new trend in the genre. The movie, which narrated the life of the underworld mafia Satya, was applauded for its detailing and execution. After 15 years, RGV describes the future course of underworld in Satya 2 starring Sharwanand and Anaika Soti in leads, but he falters this time. The movie Satya 2 which is a sequel to Satya, does not match the first film. Sharwanand's performance is the main highlight in the movie. Interesting script and dialogues, Vikash Saraf's cinematography, Amar Mohile-Kary Arora's background score, well-choreographed action and stunts and a few technical stuffs are other big attractions in the film. But the big drawbacks of the movie are the slow-paced narration and uninteresting soundtracks. It should be said here that most of RGV's gangster movies had same formula in terms of its story, whereas Satya 2 breathes some amount of freshness in this regard. Radhika Anand, who has written the story for the film, seems to have drawn inspiration from Mahesh Babu's Telugu film The Businessman and Upendra's Kannada film Super in parts. But she has tried her best to bring originality in the script. She has tried to narrate the current crime scenario in a different angle. ADVERTISEMENT The underworld don in Satya 2 is not like the old ones. He is much more educated and unlike others, he consciously makes an entry into the mafia world. He has acquired lot of knowledge through research and study of mistakes made by all previous underworld dons. He starts a new underworld company that operates just like any corporate organisation. He also develops ways to deal with the modern day policing methods. Continue to Satya 2 movie review in the slideshow.

Satya 2 Story Satya (Sharwanand), is an aspiring don, who enters the scene with different ideology. Without having any big pertinent contacts in the city, he dreams to take over the underworld mafia. How does he become a frightening mafia? How does he start a highly influential Company? Answers to these questions will form the crux of the story.

Krrish 3 Movie Review

Superheroes have always captured the fancy of millions across the globe for ages and with the introduction of Krrish, India found its own bonafide superhero. Thanks to the Roshans, Bollywood has its first superhero franchise, that has taken one step further with the big release of Krrish 3 today, amidst the festive season of Diwali. A third in the franchise that began with 2003 movie Koi... Mil Gaya, Krrish 3 will take forward the story of the superhero Krrish, played by Hrithik Roshan. Like its prequels, Krrish 3 once again takes us into the world of masked fantasy, where the stakes are incredibly high, and this time our superhero Krrish faces the challenge of saving the world from the clutches of the villain Kaal (Vivek Oberoi). There's no doubt about the fact that Krrish 3 manages to match up to the scale of Hollywood films, but plot wise it has nothing much to offer you. Moreover, the story gets lost at times, considering the fact that there are too many unnecessary song sequences to kill it.
Story
After defeating the villainous Dr Siddhant Arya, and bringing his father Rohit back from the dead, Krrish continued fighting against evil and saving innocent lives. Now Krishna is living a happily married life with Priya, while Rohit is using his scientific brilliance to benefit society. And Krrish is everyone's favorite superhero saviour. Unknown to them, a dark force is growing in another part of the world. Kaal, an evil genius, is selfishly misusing his powers to spread fear, death and destruction. And he is being assisted by an army of very dangerous beings, which he has created himself.

BHAI Telugu Movie Review , Rating

Genre: Mass entertainer

Cast: Nagarjuna, Richa Gangopadyay, Prasanna

Director: Veerabhadram Chowdary
Bhai story: Vijay (Nagarjuna) is a right hand for mafia don David (Ashish Vidyarthi). He will be sent to Hyderabad to find out an undercover cop who targets mafia. He'll get to know about the cop and  how he tackles is the rest of the story.

Analysis: One more Don story in Nagarjuna's kitty. Director Veerabhadram served us the same wine in a new glass. First half of the story dealt with his stylish introduction and mafia backdrop. A small and routine twist which we used to see from our childhood days turned the story from interval bang.

Where as in the Second half narration goes through his flash back, family sentiments, sister emotions and finally a fight and an end title card. There is nothing special and new in the story.

Teluguone Perspective: A powerful introduction with absolutely good BGM brought goosebumps. Worst choreography ruined the songs given by Devi Sri Prasad. Only thing that can be appreciated through out the movie is his one liners and music. Fights are good. No comedy till pre-climax. After brahmanandam's intro there were few laughs and chucklings in the theater. Costumes are good. Cinematography is praisable.

Performances: Routine performance by Nagarjuana. Richa gangopadhyay is okay with her performance.   Brahmanandam's comedy is humorous enough. Prasanna, who debuted with the movie performed very well as a sincere cop. Rest of all did their part well.

Technicalities: The Cinematography of Sameer reddy is quite undeniable.  The music composition gave the movie some strength and Devi sri prasad with no doubt has given his best.

Positives:  Music,
                   Camera work,
                   Fights.

Negatives: Routine Story line,
                   worst Choreography
                   Poor comedy

Final word: Bhai movie is a single time watcher
