Story:
Ram (Ajay), Suresh, Linga and Kumar are a bunch of best friends who study in the same college. They enjoy their teenage life, and keep trying to woo girls just for time pass. On the other hand, Janu (Kausalya) is Ram’s childhood friend, who never expresses her love towards Ram.
One fine day, all the four friends hire a call girl, but land in trouble midway. What trouble did they fall in ? How did they come out ? Will Janu ever express her love to Ram ? That forms the crux of the story.
Plus Points:
Ajay, Kausalya, Muneesha and all other young actors have performed decently. Shayaji Shinde plays a prominent role and gives a good performance. Posani Krishna Murali, Raghubabu, Krishna Bhagwan, 30 years industry Pruthvi played small characters, and have done justice to their roles.
The first half of the movie has some funny double meaning dialogues which are ok. Few college episodes, and friendship related emotions are showcased nicely.
Minus Points:
First and foremost, the film is an overdose of vulgarity. Scenes with double meaning dialogues come repeatedly one after the other making the film look like a soft porn. Even though these scenes are blurred, they cause inconvenience to the viewers. Climax of the film has nothing in it and falls flat.
The makers have tried very hard to give a message, but lacked a proper story to convey it. Audience get confused for the first few minutes, as one cannot understand what is going on in the film. Comedy scenes are quite routine and stale. Director tries to unveil the story only in the second half, which also is highly predictable.
Technical Aspects:
Sai Karthik’s youthful songs are just about ok, and so is his background score. Cinematography is quite good, and the songs have been shot well. Editing is not up to the mark, as most of the vulgar scenes could have been easily chopped off.
Screenplay of the film is disappointing, and leaves the audience in utter confusion. Even though the director has designed his scenes well, execution wise he has failed completely.
Verdict:
On the whole, Galilo Telinattunde is one film which is high on vulgarity, and does not go well with the audience. Only a section of youth, who likes adult comedy can enjoy this movie only to an extent. Rest can stay away.
