Hrithik's Krrish 3 (10 Days) 2nd Weekend Collection At Box Office

Last week's release Krrish 3 has continued to keep the cash-registers ringing. It has done a fantastic collection at the Indian Box Office in the second weekend. The Hrithik Roshan starrer has once again topped the domestic business chart, beating Ram Gopal Varma's new release Satya 2. In just 10 days, the superhero film has become the second all time highest grosser, pushing down biggies' films like Ek Tha Tiger and 3 Idiots. With the release of Satya 2 and Thor: The Dark World, the business of Krrish 3 went down on its second Friday, when compared to its collection (Rs 13.44 crores) on Thursday. But Rakesh Roshan-directed flick witnessed big jump on Saturday and Sunday. In the second weekend, the movie has collected Rs 39.74 crores nett at the Indian Box Office, taking its 10-day domestic total to Rs 206.35 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 9.16 cr on Fri, Rs 14.23 cr on Sat and Rs 16.35 cr on Sun. Krrish 3 Ten Days Collection At Box Office However, Krrish 3 has set several new records and the biggest among them are highest collection on single day, the fastest Rs 200 crore grosser, and the highest collection in the first week. With Chennai Express topping the list of all time highest grosser Hindi films, Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots (Rs 202 crores), Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 199.50) and Ranbir Kapoor's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Rs 191.50 crores) were in the second, third and fourth places, respectively. Pushing them down, Krrish 3 has landed in the second place. Looking at its current pace at the Indian Box Office, the trade analyst feel that the Hrithik Roshan starrer would beat the record of Chennai Express in its second week and become the highest grosser of the year 2013 as well as all time highest grosser in the Hindi cinema.

Krrish 3 Movie Review

Superheroes have always captured the fancy of millions across the globe for ages and with the introduction of Krrish, India found its own bonafide superhero. Thanks to the Roshans, Bollywood has its first superhero franchise, that has taken one step further with the big release of Krrish 3 today, amidst the festive season of Diwali. A third in the franchise that began with 2003 movie Koi... Mil Gaya, Krrish 3 will take forward the story of the superhero Krrish, played by Hrithik Roshan. Like its prequels, Krrish 3 once again takes us into the world of masked fantasy, where the stakes are incredibly high, and this time our superhero Krrish faces the challenge of saving the world from the clutches of the villain Kaal (Vivek Oberoi). There's no doubt about the fact that Krrish 3 manages to match up to the scale of Hollywood films, but plot wise it has nothing much to offer you. Moreover, the story gets lost at times, considering the fact that there are too many unnecessary song sequences to kill it.
Story
After defeating the villainous Dr Siddhant Arya, and bringing his father Rohit back from the dead, Krrish continued fighting against evil and saving innocent lives. Now Krishna is living a happily married life with Priya, while Rohit is using his scientific brilliance to benefit society. And Krrish is everyone's favorite superhero saviour. Unknown to them, a dark force is growing in another part of the world. Kaal, an evil genius, is selfishly misusing his powers to spread fear, death and destruction. And he is being assisted by an army of very dangerous beings, which he has created himself.

BHAI Telugu Movie Review , Rating

Genre: Mass entertainer

Cast: Nagarjuna, Richa Gangopadyay, Prasanna

Director: Veerabhadram Chowdary
Bhai story: Vijay (Nagarjuna) is a right hand for mafia don David (Ashish Vidyarthi). He will be sent to Hyderabad to find out an undercover cop who targets mafia. He'll get to know about the cop and  how he tackles is the rest of the story.

Analysis: One more Don story in Nagarjuna's kitty. Director Veerabhadram served us the same wine in a new glass. First half of the story dealt with his stylish introduction and mafia backdrop. A small and routine twist which we used to see from our childhood days turned the story from interval bang.

Where as in the Second half narration goes through his flash back, family sentiments, sister emotions and finally a fight and an end title card. There is nothing special and new in the story.

Teluguone Perspective: A powerful introduction with absolutely good BGM brought goosebumps. Worst choreography ruined the songs given by Devi Sri Prasad. Only thing that can be appreciated through out the movie is his one liners and music. Fights are good. No comedy till pre-climax. After brahmanandam's intro there were few laughs and chucklings in the theater. Costumes are good. Cinematography is praisable.

Performances: Routine performance by Nagarjuana. Richa gangopadhyay is okay with her performance.   Brahmanandam's comedy is humorous enough. Prasanna, who debuted with the movie performed very well as a sincere cop. Rest of all did their part well.

Technicalities: The Cinematography of Sameer reddy is quite undeniable.  The music composition gave the movie some strength and Devi sri prasad with no doubt has given his best.

Positives:  Music,
                   Camera work,
                   Fights.

Negatives: Routine Story line,
                   worst Choreography
                   Poor comedy

Final word: Bhai movie is a single time watcher

Bhai Movie Rating: 2.75/5

Bhai Movie Review, Bhai Review: Bhai – A mafia backdrop with family sentiments.

Genre: Mass entertainer

Cast: Nagarjuna, Richa Gangopadyay, Prasanna

Director: Veerabhadram Chowdary
Nagarjuna, who is not having a good run at the box office in recent times, is back with Bhai, a commercial potboiler. Veerabhadram, who made two comedy hits wielded the megaphone for Bhai.

What is it about?
Bhai (Nagarjuna) is the main henchman of international Don David (Asish Vidhyardhi). Bhai comes on a mission to kill an undercover cop who is creating problems for underworld mafia in Hyderabad. However, Bhai comes to know that undercover cop Arjun (Prasanna) is none other than his younger brother. Now Bhai has to rescue his brother from David and his son (Sonu Sood).

Performances:

Nagarjuna is fit and glamorous as usual. At 54, he is still competing with young heroes in looks and physical maintenance. His performance is okay as Bhai. He did well in sentimental scenes. Richa Gangopadhyaya doesn't have much of a role to play. Her character is poorly written and irritates most of the times. Sonu Sood is wasted. Asish Vidhyardhi is over the top. Brahmanandam's cameo is okay. There is nothing much to write about the remaining star cast. There are many known faces in this film, but none of them got a role to remember.

Technicalities:

Devi Sri Prasad failed as the music director. Songs are below par and the background score is pathetic. Dialogues, which are popularly known as Bhai bullets are horrible. There are tons of unnecessary dialogues in the movie. Sameer Reddy, who is a very good cinematographer failed miserably in this. It looked like it was shot by an amateur. Editing is equally bad.

Director Veerabhadram failed to make this an enjoyable fare. His first two films had good comedy and appealed to the crowds. This time he couldn't get anything right. Script is poorly written and execution is even worse. Veerabhadram should perhaps stick to his strengths rather making such mediocre mass entertainers.

Analysis:

First half of Bhai is unbearable with story not moving anywhere. Introduction scenes of Nagarjuna and his Bhai act in Bangkok are not at all impressive. Love track between Nag and Richa tested the patience of audience. Except for first song, the other two songs are badly placed in the first half.

Second half starts off with an interesting twist at the interval. There is some story to write about in the second hour. The father-son, sister-brother sentiment scenes are not shot well. There is scope for the director to work out comedy and sentiment in the second half. But he messed it up with poor writing.

He has concentrated more on unnecessary stuff like punch dialogues and hero elevation scenes. Those scenes and dialogues are not good too. Hence, the film ended up as a horrible affair that will test anyone. Nagarjuna fans and masses also will be disappointed with this.

Verdict: Unbearable torture 'Bhai'! - See more at: http://www.gulte.com/moviereviews/341/Bhai-Movie-Review#sthash.rOvG5iOU.dpuf
