Seenu aka Bellamkonda Sreenivas earns his livelihood by cheating and indulding in the most challenging situations. Seenu & Narasimha (Prakash Raaj) runs away from Badami & accidently step down in Hyderabad. Thats where Seenu comes across Local don Bhai (Prakash Raaj), who is similar to his Uncle. Thereby he plays a trick by replacing his uncle in the place of Bhai, with help of Dimple (Brahmi). In this process Seenu intelligently woos Anjali (Samantha) with his charm and wins her heart finally, which by the way was bound to happen. Rest is best unsaid and left to be seen on screen provided you plan to watch it at all....

Review : Alludu Seenu

Alludu Seenu Telugu Movie Review: Alludu Seenu, a mass entertaining comedy drama Tollywood movie is directed by topmost hit maker of South Indian cinema V. V. Vinayak and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under his banner Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions. The Telugu movie marks the debut of Samantha Ruth Prabhu as lead heroine paired opposite to the producer Bellamkonda Suresh son Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas as lead actor. Other cast includes Brahmanandam and Prakash Raj playing other prominent roles. In this comedy flick, Tamannaah will also be seen dancing in an item number for the music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Chota K. Naidu handled the cinematography while Gautham Raju done the editing of the film. Let's begin our movie review. The story of Alludu Seenu is about a male protagonist Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas (Alludu) who is an orphan and brought up by Prakash Raj who called him Alludu with love and great affection. Alludu will be seen fighting with some goons and romancing with glamorous Samantha. Watch Alludu in Alludu Seenu packed with comedy, romance and action. In the high budget movie, Vinayak did decent job in screenplay and narration as his earlier cinematic ventures. Prakash Raj while playing a key role looks convincing with his handy expressions in double role. Sai Sreenivas proved his debut of acting with intense energy and wonderful performance. Peppy number of Tamannaah works as spice and performance of lead actress Samantha adds a glam quotient to the movie. The music has already created huge buzz with some top chartbusters. The family entertainer movie goes well with all age group of cinegoers. The plot is good and dialogue delivery is top-notch. Last, but not least Brahmanandam comedy will surely tickle your funny bone.

Review: Move over chick flicks for guy flicks have arrived and it's only fair that rom-coms are now being made about boys looking for 'Miss Right'. With his sharp wit and refreshing nonchalance, Virr Das in the titular role brings out the irony of the situation effortlessly. He makes a list of qualities that his lady love must possess. In a hilarious opening scene, he even dumps a girl for not liking Sachin Tendulkar. And since 'opposites attract', he falls for a free-spirited Mala (Vega Tamotia). But Cupid plays a cruel game when Devika (Anindita Nayar), the girl of Amit's dreams (read list), comes into his life soon after.

Wait, I thought I’d walked into a horror film, having lowered my expectations anyway. Horror, like pure comedy, whether good or bad, has an uncomplicated relationship with its audience. You go in for the laughs in the latter, and to feel frightended at least for a few seconds, every now and then, in the former. Story is secondary. Sometimes bad horror movies make you laugh, but that’s part of the fun.
This picture starts off quite slickly, with top-rate graphic storytelling for opening credits. The background score, at least for its sound design, is of high quality. The sets look well done. And there is 3D for bonus effect.
But you know what, none of this is supposed to matter. All you need to scare the pants off the audience is to make them believe that what’s happening to the characters on screen could be happening to them. God knows, movies shot like home videos have achieved that phenomenally well: The Blair Witch Project or Paranormal Actvity are only two best known (relatively) recent examples. Closer home, Ram Gopal Varma’s Bhoot and his production Vaastushastra, with their setting and situations, could rock your seat.
Given how distant you feel from the two loser type main characters in this movie, and the few scenes when ghosts appear are inserted so callously into the picture, you wonder if the filmmakers were even attempting to scare you at all. There is not a moment of effective horror. There is absolutely no humour. What’s the point then?
